"Walk to Work Day is held annually to remind all Australians

that regular physical activity such as walking is a great way to

not only avoid weight gain but also a range of illnesses including

high blood pressure and cholesterol, depression, diabetes,

arthritis and cancer," he said.

"Most people are obviously not able to leave their car at home

our surroundings," Cr Furolo said.

your bus a few stops earlier."
