Walk to Work Day
Friday 4 October 2019
Students will take part in the Walk Safely to School Day’ on Friday, May 18.

All students are asked to meet at the new skate park at 840am and walk to school with their teachers.

The buses have been advised to drop students off at the park to enable all students to take part. Parents are welcome to join in on the walk.

Walk Safely To School Day is now in its 13th year. The National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) initiative promotes the important message: Active Kids Are Healthy Kids.

The aim of the event is to encourage parents, carers and their children to build regular walking to and from school into their daily routine; as children need a minimum of 60 minutes, regular physical activity per day.

We had many happy students and hopefully happy mothers following our Mother’s Day stall last week.
